In an extremely beautiful village, at an altitude of 1200 meters, known as “gem” or “Eagle’s nest” of Epirus in a physical landscape of rare beauty, from which many families with an international reputation in goldsmithery originate, there is a small family stony hospice, Napoleon Zagklis’s hospice. |            |
This hospice with the spacious and well-lit rooms which was created with the artistry of two young people and brought the village of Kalarrites back to life, stands out for its hospitality, its cuisine, and for the opportunity that it offers to its visitors to have a contact with the nature.
The lounge with the wooden furniture, the traditional rugs and the fireplace creates a cozy and friendly atmosphere and offers the visitors moments of peacefulness and warmth.
Either at the hospice or at the old coffee-house you can enjoy a full breakfast composed by a variety of local products, while in the noon and the evening and after having wandered around at the area, you can enjoy the warm atmosphere along with your friends (live the experience of the unscheduled music nights) and taste our exceptional dishes such as goat cooked in the casserole, pork coked with leaks and celery, jugged rabbit, specially cooked ewe and many more.
The hospice is open throughout the whole year.
